Disable Social Gallery on a Post or Page

This feature was added to Social Gallery in v2.2 – when enabled this allows you to disable Social Gallery on a per page/post basis. To enable this feature go to the Social Gallery settings and then turn it on under “General” settings: When this feature is enabled you will see a box as follows under any posts/pages you edit – allowing you to “hard turn off” Social Gallery for that page or post. … checking this box disables Social Gallery for this specific post or page. Social Gallery Add Ons

Social Gallery Add-Ons are a new way to get more out of your Social Gallery Plugin. Initially conceived to give you “bolt on” extra features you can now add “Social Stat’s” recording & a Mobile version of Social Gallery (Social Gallery Mobile.) by installing these separate bolt on plugins. Once installed correctly these other plugins will show up as “installed” on this tab.

Using Encoded HTML in Social Gallery SideBar

You can now use HTML in your image descriptions! As of v2.1 you can now use Encoded HTML within your galleries/blog posts to add html elements to the descriptions of your images in Social Gallery! “Prompt to Save As” – Social Gallery Download Link

This new feature was a request from the forums and is available in Social Gallery v2.2+. When enabled (and “Show Image Download Link” is too) it will prompt visitors to “Save Image as…” when they click download, rather than just loading the image! This is great for those of you who want to make it really easy for users to get a copy of a gallery image – wallpaper galleries is a good example. Social Gallery and Mobile Devices (Including Tablets)

As of v2.1 Social Gallery is now mobile device aware. Many users of v2.0 and v1.4 of Social Gallery wanted to use custom mobile lightboxes, as well as Social Gallery Mobile (mobile lightbox.) To make this possible Social Gallery now detects whether your visitors are loading  the page via a mobile device or a tablet – and it lets you switch Social Gallery on or off depending on what it detects.
