Making money online isn't just about WordPress.

I see this all the time. I've read countless books where the advice is this. Pick a niche website, install WordPress and work on SEO and PPC campaigns. They're lying.

The fact is, starting your own online business is hard. You need to do something you love. There's no quick fixes. There's no riches overnight. In Growth I share the brutal, truthful ups and downs. It’s got everything that I did to get to where I am today.

My first start up was a failure. I spent weeks and months making the website. I got plenty of users selling through the website, but I didn't consider the customers. No customers = No business.

I had my first taste of 'passive income' back in 2011. That's when I started believing I could make money online. While this was great, it wasn't enough cash to allow me to leave my 9-5. I needed to scale. So I built 25 WordPress Plugins in less than a year.

But I wanted more. I started to use my skills for Freelance. Where should I look? How should I approach this? I researched Upwork, oLark, Freelancer and settled on People Per Hour.

In Growth, I'll share exactly what I did to get up to CERT 5 on People Per Hour, and how I got 100% 5* customer reviews. This opened the door to more Freelance opportunities.

Hey, I’m Mike Stott. Since 2011 I have developed 25+ WordPress Plugins and 6 WordPress Themes. I don't have a background in computer programming. Everything has been self taught. In 2016, I had scaled my businesses enough to allow me to quit my 9-5 and work 100% online.
