  • 12 WordPress Themes – Month 1. Week 2. Report

    It’s the end of week 2. It’s creeping up to the point where the first theme will be almost ready to be released. A lot of time this week has been spent setting the scene. Reaching out to Outreach partners and spending time being interviewed and getting content prepared for various sites.

  • WordPress Plugins and Themes. Where to promote your products

    As part of my challenge to develop 12 WordPress Themes in 12 Months I came across the need to build up a central repository of websites where you can promote WordPress products.

    That’s been my mini project for this week. Put together an online resource that I can add to. A resource that will become useful as the development project continues and starts to gather momentum.

  • 12 WordPress Themes in 12 Months: Guidelines, Folder Structure and Stack

    Twelve themes in twelve months. That’s a bold statement. Whether this is one theme a month or a few clusters here and there is up to me. What I will do is blog throughout the process so that if you’re looking to do something similar you can hopefully learn from me going through this process.

  • Why I’m saying NO to Freelance

    Happy November everyone. I can’t believe how quick this year has gone. I left my job at the end of July. So a full 3 months has passed with me doing my own thing. Quite a lot of my ‘own thing’ has been doing freelance for others.

  • Transparency report #7 – Oct 2016

    Month 7 of the transparency report. If you’ve emailed me in October you’ll have got my out of office. I spent most of the month in Hong Kong and Japan (7th to the 25th October). Through doing this I stuck my out of office on and directed support to the new support inbox.

  • Develop 12 WordPress Themes in 12 months

    OK. This weekend I was set a challenge. Develop 12 WordPress Themes in 12 months. I’ve accepted the challenge. Here at epic plugins I also develop and sell themes.

    I have three themes at the moment, and a heck of a lot of plugins. So through doing the 12 themes in 12 months challenge it’ll bolster the theme offering. But that’s not the only reason I’m doing this.
